Doers of London was founded on the strong belief that the market needed grooming products which offered great performance while respecting the natural balance of our skin and being less harmful to the environment. We launched the brand and started an ongoing journey to create a healthier and more sustainable skincare range, without being scared to evolve and change as we sought to improve upon our commitment to our goals.

With each progressive step we have worked to improve and strengthen not just our manufacturing but also our transparency. Just making better products was not enough, greenwashing and false claims in the skincare industry are a common phenomenon, and now more than ever it is incredibly hard to discern which claims are genuine, and beneficial, and which are not.

It is important for us to set an example, and to be honest with our customers about the things that matter the most to them. We are open and committed to transparency, and we are proud to disclose information about our processes, ingredients and packaging, as standard practices for an ethical brand.

Transparency is a main component of our beauty equation. To make it simple to provide evidence of our claims, and to make information and education about our formulations more accessible to everyone, we decided to partner with two champions in transparency tech solutions: Provenance and its unique Proof Points technology, and ClearForMe and its ever-evolving database of ingredient definitions.

What is Provenance: Provenance® uses tech to power sustainability claims you can trust, so that you can shop in line with your values. They protect shoppers from greenwash by connecting ‘green’ claims to evidence from the supply chain or third-party verification.

What are 'Proof Points': Proof Points are interactive icons representing a claim about a business or product. Using technology, they connect what brands say to real data from the supply chain. Each Proof Point is part of the Provenance Framework, a collection of 50+ jargon-free claims about social and environmental impact.

What is ClearForMe: ClearForMe is changing the way the world consumes ingredient information, one click at a time. ClearForMe has more than 1.6 million ingredients in its database. It stores fact-based information like ingredient functions and simple definitions you can understand in a fun, frictionless way.

What are the sources behind ClearForMe’s Ingredient Facts?: ClearForMe continuously sources its facts from neutral and accredited organizations. Sources include: World Health Organization, National Institute of Health, European Commission Database, Personal Care Products Council, U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This can be accessed directly from the packaging, by scanning the QR code.
